In this session, we discuss how EI/ECSE professionals can reframe family-professional partnerships to disrupt and transform entrenched power dynamics that harm families. Participants will: (1) identify deficit- and equity-based partnership dynamics, (2) recognize how power emerges in interactions, and (3) consider ways to disrupt and transform entrenched power dynamics.
