Despite the legal responsibility of advocacy for their children with autism, Chinese immigrant parents often face unique barriers to the activation of their roles as advocates. This poster session provides preliminary findings of a mixed methods study which examines a training program that enhances Chinese immigrant parents’ capacity for special education advocacy.
