Division for Early Childhood 2024 Conference

This session describes using professional preparation standards to support preservice educators’ reflection and field experiences. Using the EI/ECSE and ECE Standards, observations are more focused and reflections based on what the field expects teachers to know and be able to do. Additionally, candidates indicate increased focus on their own and child and classroom needs.
