The effectiveness of a response prompting strategy incorporated in an explicit instruction approach was investigated in 4 single case design studies involving 7 participants, who mastered targeted skills and demonstrated maintenance/generalization. Future research and the utility of this type of intervention, for practitioners, will be explored via interactive discussions.
