Assessing Children’s Social-Emotional Development in Authentic Settings

This session will focus on social and cultural contexts in assessing young children’s social-emotional development and learning. The purpose is to discuss a conceptual framework in assessing young children’s social-emotional skills through a sociocultural ecological perspective to guide assessment and instruction. Resources for professional development will be shared.
