About me
Kellen Reid, MD MPH is a senior researcher scientist and technical assistance (TA) provider at the Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Reid’s training as a physician and in public health provide a unique fund of knowledge and perspective in early childhood initiatives for young children with disabilities. In addition to working directly with state and local early childhood special education and early intervention agencies across the nation as through the US Department of Education’s Office of Special Education Programs funded technical assistance centers, he has developed or led numerous national resources (e.g., interactive online tools, webinars, technical briefs), national early childhood conferences, cross-state TA cohorts, etc. to build the capacity of the state agencies to improve their programs and, ultimately, outcomes for children and families.
