About me
As Associate Director, Nicole coordinates the professional development programming and develops curriculum used in topical training and technical assistance at the Mississippi Early Childhood Inclusion Center. Mrs. Briceno created the Special Needs Credential and Social-Emotional Credential, 40-hour certificate programs for infant, toddler, and preschool teachers. Nicole participates in program research utilizing the Inclusion Classroom Profile© (ICP) and the Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool (TPOT). She mentors MECIC staff to promote best practices and disseminates the program’s activities in state and national conferences and across agency partnerships. Mrs. Briceno is an adjunct professor with The University of Southern Mississippi, Child and Family Sciences.
