Hi! My name is Samreen. I’m a former early childhood special education teacher, teacher mentor, parent coach, wife, mom of 3 (& twin mom), and a coffee enthusiast. I currently work in the Educational Technology industry and design responsive early literacy assessments that are used nationwide.

I envision an equitable school system that values building genuine relationships, provides all students access to learning, and celebrates diversity. I am passionate about a holistic approach to behavior modification in which connection is valued over compliance and behavior is seen as communication. I believe that establishing strong partnerships between educators and parents is the key to providing students with a holistic and positive educational experience and upbringing.

With a dual Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from Teachers College at Columbia University paired with over 15 years of professional experience, I consider myself an expert on advocating for and empowering young students. I am here to help you do the same for yours!
