About me
Sarah F. Pedonti, Ph.D. is an assistant professor in Birth-Kindergarten Education at Western Carolina University. She teaches a range of courses that focus on inclusive methods and environments for diverse children with or at risk for disabilities. Her latest work focuses on how outdoor environments can scaffold the language development and STEM competencies of diverse learners, including dual language learners, children with or at risk for disabilities, and children from diverse cultural and racial-ethnic backgrounds.
