Early Childhood Inclusion: Building Research Collaborations

The DEC International Committee will moderate an interactive discussion of potential research collaborations on early childhood inclusion. We will provide an overview of global early childhood inclusion efforts. We will provide opportunities for session attendees to network and discuss research ideas related to early childhood inclusion and build collaborative projects.

This presentation will highlight outcomes from a systematic review on parent-child interaction (PCI) in everyday routines. Focused on dyads of caregivers and young children who are deaf, this systematic review revealed interesting findings and informed a number of "lessons learned" that can benefit researchers conducting reviews across a range of family/child populations.
