This presentation will provide an overview of the Cross Disciplinary Competencies, sharing materials that illustrate collaboration, and how we are working together to attract, prepare, and retain a diverse workforce in early childhood intervention to meet the changing needs of the ECI system.

High-quality early childhood education is equity! This presentation shares one approach to collaborating with community college faculty to design and deliver content that will prepare associate degree students to serve young children with disabilities and their families, including those who are multilingual and from racially, ethnically, and culturally diverse populations.

Promoting high-quality leadership at all levels of EI/ECSE is critical to successful outcomes for infants, toddlers, and families. Learn more about a tiered system of leadership development for Part C and Part B/619 coordinators and staff. The tiered system puts focus on knowledge and skills needed for foundational, operational, and strategic leadership. Hear from a panel of past participants about their experience and how they are using what they have learned in their state. They will also share the progress of their capstones projects.

This session will explore inclusive practices for children with disabilities in Reggio Emilia, Italy. We will share the story of how a group of early childhood education professionals took a trip to Reggio Emilia, Italy to learn about the preschool approach and how it strengthened our learning, and created stronger supports within our own community of practice at home.

The predictable nature of coaching helps the coachee internalize a process for making deliberate decisions about their work. Learn to apply a capacity-building coaching framework to supervisory discussions to improve work force performance.
