Beyond Mentoring: What to Consider When Supporting International Scholars

As the number of international EI/ECSE scholars increases in the U.S., it is important for faculty to have the knowledge and skills to support them. Drawing from data and lived experiences, presenters will facilitate discussions on culturally responsive strategies to mentor scholars and create a more inclusive academic community.

Effects of Multi-Tiered Approach for Inclusive Daycare Centers in Korea

Multi-tiered program was culturally applied to 167young children from community-based inclusive settings in South Korea. Quantitative and qualitative research methods were used. The results show that there was a significant improvement in social competencies for young children with and without disabilities. Discussion and implications of the study results will be presented
